This multimedia kit shows the external and internal views of the Original Heart of America model (record number 415) from Denoyer-Geppert. Three easy-access doors flip open for internal study of the heart. Chambers are accurately reproduced to scale. Flexible chordae tendinae and cusps permit easy-to-see demonstrations of valve action. This model includes attached sections of the trachea and oesopagus. Mounted on a hardwood stand. Measures 18 x 18 x 38 cm (7" x 7" x 15"). Enlarged twice life-size. Includes a teacher's guide, an audio tape and answer key that lists 63 structures permanently hand coded on the model.
