Vetiqo - Colon

This two-layer colon provides the opportunity to practise surgical closure of the intestinal wall and perform various types of anastomosis. It is soft and flexible, and mimics the properties of colon tissue in dogs and cats. It is suitable for practising incisions, sutures and various anastomosis techniques under realistic conditions. The visual and textural demarcation between the tunica mucosa and the tunica muscularis allows for different suture practices.

The bowel simulators are reusable, tear-resistant and retain their shape and texture after repeated use. The practical bowel holder can be used to mount the bowel simulator in a vertical or a horizontal position, as required.
