This unusual preparation shows a male and female grass frog (Rana pipiens from two different angles to give students a clearer picture of the animal's anatomy. The male head and fore limbs are shown, with the characteristic large thumbs and inflated vocal sacs. The female frog is fully dissected and triple injected, illustrating the internal anatomy in great detail. Twenty major organs are keyed and both specimens are mounted on a contrasting black plate.
