AGRIS

A multidisciplinary, international database from the Food and Agriculture Organization covering agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, aquatic sciences, fisheries, human nutrition and extension and biomedical research.
AGRIS is a multidisciplinary, multilingual database from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations covering agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, aquatic sciences, fisheries, human nutrition and extension and biomedical research.

It contains more than 7 million bibliographic references as well as links to related data resources on the Web, such as DBPedia, World Bank, Nature, FAO Fisheries and FAO Country profiles.

Many records are linked to full-text documents.

AGRIS also contains more than 30,000 records on animal welfare, pain management in farm/working animals, laboratory animals, fish, reptiles and other exotic species, and alternatives to animal testing.

Most documents are in English but translation into 81 languages is available for each record. A multilingual thesaurus is also available allowing for searching in 21 languages.
