DB-ALM, produced by the European Union Reference Laboratory on Alternatives to Animal Testing (EURL ECVAM), is a database on alternative methods compiled by experts on advanced non-animal test development and validation for toxicology assessments.

DB-ALM (DataBase service on ALternative Methods), produced by the European Union Reference Laboratory on Alternatives to Animal Testing (EURL ECVAM), is a database on alternative methods compiled by experts on advanced non-animal test development and validation for toxicology assessments.

DB-ALM provides full method descriptions and related information on alternative approaches to animal experimentation in form of evaluated data sheets. The information originates from:
  • Extensive bibliographic reviews and analysis of related resources done during the thematic review process
  • EURL ECVAM validation activities
  • Project outcomes including EU Integrated Projects
  • Individual submissions from method developers and/or users, including DG JRC departments
It is available here, as one of many data sets produced by EURL ECVAM.
