Replacing Animal Research (originally FRAME)

Replacing Animal Research (originally FRAME - Fund for the Replacement of Animals in Medical Experiments) promotes the replacement of animals in medical experiments, and the use of non-animal methods for predicting human adverse reactions.

The mission of Replacing Animal Research is to promote the replacement of animals in medical experiments, and the use of non-animal methods for predicting human adverse reactions. It changed its name from FRAME in 2024.

Replacing Animal Research runs regular Training Schools in experimental design and statistics internationally. It also publishes the journal ATLA (Alternatives to Laboratory Animals).
FRAME produced a chart about Strategic Planning for Research Programmes and for reducing animal use in biomedical science.
