This resource arose out of a project funded by the National Centre for the National Centre for the
Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research (NC3Rs) and Laboratory Animal
Science Association (LASA) to evaluate provision of training in animal welfare, ethics and law within UK
Higher Education and to gather and disseminate good practice and teaching materials.
