The objectives of this event are to: Increase awareness of 3R good practices, not only within projects, but also within establishments and all aspects of animal care and use (breeding stock, use etc.). Increase awareness of 3R resources, including the role of AWB and information officer. Exchange ideas among establishments with regard to the application of the 3Rs, with special regard to peer to peer knowledge sharing between like-minded establishments (rodent, fish, large animal). Provide HPRA feedback on requirements for 3Rs and common issues in the assessment of applications. Increase awareness of how the NCPA can assist us in the implementation of the 3Rs in our establishment. |
