Since 2003, the PHARMED course is accredited by the Council for Education in Pharmaceutical Medicine (CEPM) of the International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians (IFAPP). Since 2011 PHARMED is recognised as an IMI PharmaTrain Centre of Excellence. In Belgium PHARMED is one of the training programmes recognised by BioWin, the Health cluster of the Walloon Region, since 2006. Membership of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom and the right to use the postnominals MFPM is open to eligible physicians who hold the Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine awarded by PHARMED before January 2016. |

Qualification received: |
A "Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine" (DPM, for physicians) or a "Diploma in Medicines Development A "Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine" (DPM, for physicians) or a "Diploma in Medicines Development Sciences” (for non physicians) is granted to candidates who have passed with success the examination that consists in three parts : Four assignments Multiple choice questionnaire Oral examination on all the topics covered by the programme. Holders of the PHARMED Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine are eligible to become members of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom. A certificate of attendance is delivered to the participants who do not want to sit the examination. |
