Description: | These two postgraduate courses are module based to impart necessary knowledge and skills in laboratory animal science. Duration of the Certificate course is 6 months and Diploma for 1 year which includes a 6 months short project. In-class teaching/learning for both certificate and diploma are same using different teaching/learning methods i.e. lectures, groups discussions, self-learning, on-line discussion platforms and practical sessions. 20 credits are allocated for the certificate and 26 for the diploma. These two courses are recognized by the university grants commission of Sri Lanka. |
