CLIVE (4359)

Computer-aided Learning in Veterinary Education (CLIVE) was a consortium of United Kingdom veterinary schools. CLIVE developed Computer-Assisted Learning (CAL) materials for the undergraduate veterinary course in all subjects (Anatomy, Biochemistry, Medicine, Pathology, Physiology and Surgery). CLIVE was funded from 1993 to 1996 by the UK Higher Education Funding Councils' Teaching and Learning Technology Programme (TLTP) and supported by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons' Trust. CLIVE materials were mainly designed and authored to suit the needs of the undergraduate courses in the originating institution, throughout the consortium and also to Associate Members. In collaboration with external bodies CLIVE also produced electronic materials suitable for Continuing Professional Development, published on CD-ROM and available from the CLIVE office. Products were supplied with a site licence to Associate Members. Please see http://www.vet.ed.ac.uk/clive_ed for contact details and more information about the resources, to see whether they are still available.
