Czech 3Rs Center

The Czech 3Rs Center is located at the Centre of Toxicology and Health Safety at the National Institute of Public Health in Prague.

The Czech 3Rs Center is located at the Centre of Toxicology and Health Safety at the National Institute of Public Health in Prague. The Center was formed following the World Congress on Animal Use and Alternatives in the Life Sciences, in Bologna in 1999. The Toxicology Centre's main tasks concern the use and safety of cosmetics and other consumer products.

The Center's primary activities are the development of alternative to animal tests for hazard and risk assessment. The Center also participates in EU-NETVAL evaluation trials.
