Issued by the American Fisheries Society.

Contents include sections on the role of the institutional animal care and use committee, statistical design and experimental endpoints, fish health management, statutory requirements, animal welfare considerations, work with wild fish, marking and tagging, laboratory work, euthanasia or return to the wild, and literature. The Appendices include lists of relevant drugs and notifiable disease agents.
Issued by the American Fisheries Society. The Guidelines are available here.

Produced in 2014, 90 pages. These guidelines replace the version from 2004 (which can be downloaded here) which in turn also superceded the Guidelines for the Use of Fishes in Field Research (ASIH et al., 1987, 1988).
