ILAR Journal

The ILAR Journal was published by the Institute for Laboratory Animal Research of the National Academy of Sciences in the U.S.

The ILAR Journal was the peer-reviewed, theme-oriented publication of the Institute for Laboratory Animal Research (ILAR), which provided timely information for all who use, care for, and oversee the use of animals in research. The journal published original articles that reviewed research to promote the high-quality, humane care and use of animals and the appropriate consideration and use of alternatives.
