Dog Castration Simulator allows veterinary students and instructors to repeatedly practice and gain confidence in the canine neuter procedure. It includes interchangeable skin and interchangeable testicles. The testicles each have two simulated vessels to replicate the vas deferens and vasculature and are covered with a sac layer to mimic the tunica albuginea. The reusable base has a raised edge representing the penis for palpation and a tube representing the urethra. When lubricated, the testicles can be advanced for pre-scrotal access. They can then be amputated by either a closed or an open technique. The skin incision can be closed after the procedure. Spare parts are also available.
