The Skin and Suture Pattern Simulator is a flat laminated simulator using the same case and simulator material as the The Hollow Organ, but with a foam subcutaneous layer. It is designed for training suture patterns, instrument handling and knot tying. May be used in conjunction with two video films made by professor Smeak: Basic Suturing Technique and Techniques of Suture Pattern Placement .
