NRC Nutrient Requirements

The US National Research Council (NRC) has issued guidelines on nutrient requirements, published by the National Academies Press, for a range of species, including beef cattle, goats, horses, poultry, rabbits, sheep, swine (pigs), laboratory animals, cats, dogs, fish and non-human primates.

The US National Research Council (NRC) has issued guidelines on nutrient requirements, published by the National Academies Press, for a range of species, including beef cattle (2016), dairy cattle (2001), goats, horses (2007), poultry (1994), small ruminants (2007), rabbits, sheep, swine (pigs) (2012), laboratory animals (mouse, rat, guinea pig, hamster, gerbil, vole), dogs and cats (2006), fish and shrimps (2011) and non-human primates.
