Norecopa was founded on 10 October 2025.
We celebrate the 18th Birthday with a hybrid meeting in Oslo on 14 October, together with two other international events that day.
Please note carefully how to attend these separate events (see below).
The presentations are in the language used in the title:
- A presentation of the review paper: “The welfare and ethics of research involving wild animals: A primer” – Prof. Carl Soulsbury, School of Life Sciences, University of Lincoln, Lincoln, UK
- Welfare of wild terrestrial herbivores / carnivores used for scientific purposes. 3R considerations for capture-, handling-, and marking techniques as well as post-release behavior and data validity – Prof. Jon Martin Arnemo, University of Inland, Norway

1300-1400 Supporting Replacement in Academia (Barney Reed, RSPCA). A webinar organised by the Finnish 3R centre FIN3R. Separate registration required

Norecopa will host the meeting from the auditorium at the Curie seminar room in the Chemistry Building at the University of Oslo, Sem Sælandsvei 26, 0371 Oslo.
Those who wish to attend physically must contact Adrian Smith by Wednesday 8 October at the very latest.
All others who wish to attend must use the links below:
1. The session from 1000-1200 is a Teams meeting organised by the National Committee. To attend this part, you must register in advance with the Committee.
2. The session from 1300-1400 is a Zoom meeting organised by the Finnish 3R Centre. To attend, you must register in advance using this link.
