Francopa is the French platform for the development of alternative methods in animal testing. It was created on 6 July 2007 at an inaugural meeting at the Ministry of Research.
The platform gathers all French partners with the same aim of promoting the development of alternative methods for the reduction or replacement of animal testing, particularly in the development, evaluation, and control of health products and chemicals.
Francopa is a Full Member of ecopa (European Consensus Platform on Alternatives).
Francopa has produced the Francopa documents database.
